The ideal introduction to 3D printed model airplanes is available for download here. The most well-known beginner model is the "Rooky" from... AVIATION TOYS  (Vincent Merlijn)  is now also available as a 3D-printed version. It uses a reliable capacitor drive with a pusher propeller. The aircraft is also suitable as a school project for children and as an introduction to the world of aerodynamics... Who among you can stay in the air the longest?

Special printing recommendations LW-ASA

Most of the components of the jets sold here are designed and optimized for stable, lightweight construction using LW-ASA. Since this foaming filament requires specific parameters for successful printing, which vary from printer to printer and slicer to slicer, you should conduct your own test prints beforehand. You can find many tutorials and tips on this topic online and on YouTube.

The basic default settings we use with a Bambu Lab X1C and Bambu Studio as slicers are listed here.
